Description : Gio Ponti is hailed for his legacy as one of Italy’s finest architects and for his signature aesthetic , but also for his influence in shaping design more broadly during the 20th century.

Pietro Chiesa opened his own glass shop in 1921 after apprenticing at Giannotti glassworks. Invited by Gio Ponti to co-direct Fontana Arte, he designed over a thousand pieces
